Wow!!

Wow! It is a miracle! The dogs are laying down! I just had to get a picture of it because all they do ALL day is play and wrestle. I can't believe they are actually taking a break!

Friend Birthday Party!

There are five of us that were born within a month of each other. We decided to get together at Mikey's and celebrate our 2nd birthday!

I made some cakes to take over.

Blow out the candles!

Here are my friends. This is Ladd.

Reese.

Mikey

Brady

Reese brought over a pinata. I don't think any of us really got what to do, but our moms sure had fun watching us.

You mean there is candy in here?!

I found a few suckers in the pinata and wanted them all at once.

Birthday kisses.

Here we all are. Happy birthday!

Pinata

I was more worried about hitting all the different colors than getting the candy out.

Birthday Party

We went over to Aunt Michelle's to have a party. We ate dinner, watched some football, and ate Elmo! Elmo was yummy!

Here we are! The birthday kids: Uncle Craig, Aunt Mandie, Claire and NayNay.

Dad and I are watching the Superbowl while eating Elmo.

The girls made hair bows instead. They turned out pretty cute.

Elmo Cake!

My Mom is the best! We are celebrating Claire's, Craig's, Mandie's, and my birthday tonight with all the Laraways. Mom knew how much Uncle Craig and I like Elmo, so she made a special Elmo cake. Okay, maybe it is Claire and me that likes Elmo, but I am sure that Craig and Mandie won't mind.
I was so excited when I saw it. I clapped and clapped and shouted, "Elmo!" My mom said the frosting was a "monster" to make. Her hands were dyed red and black and so was the cupboard. But I sure appreciate it Mom! Can you believe I am almost two!

Elmo! Elmo! Elmo!

Tractor Time!

Papa won a tractor by guessing the amount of beans in a wheelbarrow. He was only one bean off! Well, we went to Grandma and Papa's and I got to play on it. It is important that you wear a hat on the tractor.
I stayed with Grandma and Papa's while Mom and Dad went to see the movie Avatar. They hadn't been on a date for a really, really long time.
After Mom and Dad got back from the movie, we went to the restaurant Angie's for dinner with everyone. I needed to take pictures for the blog. Say "cheese!"
This is what it looks like from my perspective.

Whoa!
-
Thanks Grandma and Papa for tending me! I had tons of fun! Mom and Dad sure needed a date!

Gateway with Grandma

Grandma had been hearing about all the fun that I have been having at Discovery Gateway since Mimi gave me a pass for my birthday. So I offered to take her there. I had to show her everything! There was no sitting and observing for Grandma. I wanted her right there by me in all the action.

This is my favorite spot. I made Grandma put her hands in the water and play.

Whoa! Driving like Papa!

I took a finger painting class when I was there. I loved it!

We used a soap and baking soda mixture to make the paint. It felt neat.

I sure had a great time showing Grandma my favorite place.

Benji

Tonight I was really tired. I wanted to go to bed at six. Mom knew that if she put me to bed that early, that I would wake up really early. So, in order to keep me awake, she put in a movie that I had never seen before. It is called Benji. It is about a stray dog that goes around the city visiting people. All the people love Benji and give him food and bones.
-
So here we all are, watching Benji as a family, and I am loving it. That is, until Benji meets a girl dog. In the show, Benji gives the girl dog the bone that he has been carrying around. Well, that does it! I start crying hysterically. I am sobbing, "Dog! Bone!" That is to be translated into: that girl dog stole Benji's bone!
-
Mom and Dad tried to tell me that Benji was just sharing the bone. The other dog was his friend, and friends share with each other. I didn't believe them. I continued to sob and sob. Tears were streaming down my face. I couldn't believe that dog took Benji's bone from him.
-
I guess Mom and Dad decided that the show was a little traumatic for me, so they put me to bed. So now you know. Benji is a really sad show, so be prepared if you watch it.
