Today I had to go to Primary Children's Hospital and have tubes put in my ears. I have been battling ear infections forever and it was time to put an end to it.
I couldn't have anything to eat or drink after 7:45 am, but before that I could have clear liquids and Jello. So that is what I got for breakfast! Isn't that cool! Jello is a tricky kind of food that is hard to pick up and chew. So I didn't bother chewing and just swallowed it whole.
They had the best doctor's waiting room ever! There were so many toys to play with while I waited. My favorite was a truck. I rode around the room on it making truck noises.

Here I am being prepared to go into surgery. I had to wear a little shirt that tied in the back. The pants and socks were pretty comfy. The nurses blew bubbles while I was waiting.
After surgery I was pretty mad until Mom gave me a bottle. I didn't want any of the yucky apple juice the nurses were trying to give me. On the way home I fell asleep. When I woke up at home I was acting pretty silly. I was still drugged so my attempts to make Mom and Dad laugh were even more funny to them. Then I took a three and a half hour nap! Can you believe that?! Mom thinks it is a miracle. Grandma calls it 'Miracle Ears.'







After Mom and Dad had a little break, we all went to lunch. The best part was I got an
