Discovery Gateway

Aunt Erin and Uncle Craig gave our family a pass to Discovery Gateway for Christmas. Let me tell you, I had tons, I mean tons of fun!! In this picture, if you turn the handle, the balls will bounce up.

I know that Dad had a fun time "showing" me how to do things. (But I really know he just wanted to give it a try too.)

This water tube was my favorite. I think I stood here for an hour at least. I would put the balls in here and they would come out in the bowl. I was wearing a blue waterproof apron, but I still managed to get wet.

They had all types of fun things to drive. In the farm section they had a tractor. I found a cowboy hat and put it on myself before I got on the tractor. To those that know me, this is really funny because I hate wearing hats. But, I knew that in order to ride a tractor, you have to wear a hat. Isn't that right Papa?

I decided the hat thing wasn't so bad, and found another one before I got in the police car.

They have this great kitchen there. I made Mom and Dad a meal.

Hello? Grandma? You have to check this place out!

Grocery shopping was fun too!

Lunch time came and we went to the food court to get lunch. Boy, was I thirsty!

After lunch we went home for my nap. I didn't argue. I was pretty tired. Mom and Dad also said we could come back later to play some more.

When we came back, I, of course, went straight for the water. Mom and Dad just sat and watched me play for a half hour. They were surprised when I walked over to them, took off my water apron, and announced, "Done. Wha Wha. Done." Mom took my apron, and I headed to another exhibit. I think my parents were shocked. They were sure they were going to have to drag me away from there kicking and screaming.
Before I completely left the water exhibit, I turned to it, waved, and yelled, "Bye-bye Wha Wha!"

We went and saw the helicopter they have on the roof. I did NOT want to go in it. No way. Scary. I hung on to Dad for dear life. NO NO NO! Dad was going to make me (because he wanted to get in) but luckily I have a tender-hearted mommy who saved me.

The next half hour was spent putting balls in this blowing tube thing. When you stick the balls in, the air blows it up through the tubes.

I liked how it blew on my face when I opened it.

See? There the balls go. Up! Up! Up!

We had a great time there! Hopefully I can go back soon! Thanks for the tickets Erin and Craig!

Pizza Night

Almost every Friday, the Laraway's get together for pizza. This Friday, pizza was at my house.

Claire loves Elmo just as much as I do, so I had to show her the Elmo blanket that Grandma got me. She liked it!

We are a bunch of silly cousins!

I think Uncle Tucker especially enjoyed Pizza Night at my house. I let him play with my toys.

Hunter

We adopted a new pup!! His name is Hunter! He is a Golden Retriever.
Papa picked up Hunter from Jerome, Idaho. He is about 2 years old. Someone found him wandering around and took him to the shelter. That is all they know about him. Hunter and Aspen are already friends. They wrestle and play non-stop, which is really good. Aspen has been really lonely since Casey died, and we have wanted to get her a friend for a long time. We were just waiting for the right doggie to come along.

Hunter has tons of characteristics of our buddy Casey. He makes his ears go forward when he hears something, like Casey did. He also nudges you when he wants something.

Hunter was pretty stinky from being in the shelter. So Dad got in the shower with him and scrubbed and scrubbed. Then we had to brush him. I helped.

As you can see, Hunter is a pretty happy pup. I think we will be really good friends.

Cooking at Grandma's

Mom and I went and visited Grandma this week. She has this great kitchen with play food and pots and pans. Well, I made a tasty meal for all my animal friends.

Daily Life

Mom has put me in charge of the laundry. I love it! It is great fun to take the clothes out of the dryer and put them in the basket.

This is what I like to do when I first wake up from my nap. I lay on Mom's bed and watch Elmo.

Family Baby Shower

We threw a baby shower for Aunt Brittany. It was held at my house, and I was in charge of a lot of things. First we had to clean, clean, clean. Then we had to get some stuff ready.
I was in charge of filling up the trail mix bowls.

I thought that I would make rattle cupcakes for the shower.

It is important to always test the food you bake.

I also had to sample all the candy bowls to make sure they tasted good.

After I got all the stuff ready for the shower, I took Papa and Dad to Cabellas. It was great! We saw all types of animals. Papa even bought me this pop gun.

Hardware Ranch

On Saturday, the Rowley family went to Hardware Ranch to see the elk.

We had to wait in line to ride in the wagon.

I mostly sat by Papa. He is the most fun.

Then I would sit by Grandma. She is the MOST fun! Look Grandma! A baby elk. It is calling for its mom. It is saying, "Are you? Mom?"

Thanks for giving us a ride horses!

Baby Shower

I went to Logan on Saturday to attend Brittany's baby shower. Did you know that she has a baby in her tummy? She has been telling me that I have one in my tummy, so if you ask where my baby is, I lift up my shirt and show you my tummy.

Sledding

We took a break from all that unpacking, and took my new sled out for a ride.

Whoa! Hang on Mom!

After awhile, I was more interested in pulling the sled around, then going down the hill.
