Still Sick

I am still sick. I have been sick since May 15th. The anti-biotics didn't work, so I am on new ones now. The only way that I will sleep is if I am in the bed with Mom or Dad. Well, when I am in the bed they don't get any sleep because I wiggle so much! Also, I sit up and cry and then lay back down about every ten minutes. This happens all night long so you can see why they don't get any sleep.
-
During the day I have just been no fun to be around either. Mom says I should get an award for the great tantrums I am throwing.
-
Mom took me to the doctor and I have a viral skin infection. That explains my rash on my entire body. The doc said bendryl should help clear it up.
-
I am also cutting 2 molars.

Hike

On Memorial Day, the Rowley family took a hike in the Wellsville Mountains. We had a lot of fun. Grandpa said that I couldn't drive Grandma's car anymore after I backed it into a ditch. But I did it on purpose so Uncle Justin could act all manly and use his truck to pull it out. (Your welcome Justin... now I can't drive anymore.)

Part of the the hike it was raining. But I came prepared with ponchos for everyone. I brought my cute rain jacket for myself.

Everyone wanted a picture together so Aspen volunteered to push the self-timer and run back. However she didn't make it all the way. That is why we have a bum shot of her. Hollie is up in the right top of the picture. It was kind of an awkward tree to sit on.

We hiked to a pond. Aspen LOVES to swim!

Sick!

I have had a bug for the past week. I have been coughing, throwing up, snotty, and just darn irritable. I haven't wanted to eat or sleep. I stayed up for three straight nights and would only sleep in the car. A tired Mom and Dad don't really add to the situation.

See my sad eyes?
-
Mommy took me to the doctor on Friday. It wasn't Dr. Templeman that I saw, it was someone else. She said my ears were red but wouldn't give me an anti-biotic because she didn't think they were bad enough. When I didn't get better, Mom took me to see Dr. Templeman on Monday. Well my ears and throat are infected and he gave me an anti-biotic. I don't think Mommy is going to go to that doctor anymore.
-
Also, on Monday I had to have my 15 month shots. Ouchie! I am just plain miserable!

Straws

I did it! I learned to drink through a straw! I have been practicing and practicing, and finally I did it! It has been wonderful! I can get a drink of Diet Coke whenever I want.

Also, I can get Slurpees. But I will give you a warning on Slurpees: Drink them slow or you will get a brain freeze.

Grandpa Jeff was so proud of me that he went and bought me sippys that have straws. I love them!

Day at Grandpa's

Grandma is in Tennessee, which means Grandpa is home alone. I knew he probably needed help around the house, so I went up and visited him. I helped him feed Shadow carrots.

Grandpa lets me play in buckets of water.

For some must push and some must pull.

Great Grandma Rowley came to visit for a little bit.

I showed her some of my walking skills.

After Great Grandma Rowley left I got a ride on Junior. I do not like Junior at all. It is too noisy for me! Scary.

We decided to take a nice walk down the road to see the cows. I know that they say Moo now.

Mother's Day at Aunt Erin's

Cousin Claire's mom says that Claire can be a stinker sometimes.... just like when she spilled her water all over the table. I am glad Claire is a stinker. She can teach me new ways to cause problems. But don't worry. We wiped up the water.

Uncle Craig is a pretty entertaining guy. I can see why Bosley likes him so much. He is fun to play with.

I only wanted to hold still long enough to take my picture with Grandpa Steve and Mimi. Then it was off to play in Bosley's water bowl.

Grandpa at the Red House

Grandpa Jeff spent Thursday at their red house doing yard work. I like the red house because it is close to mine. Since he was here I got to go to lunch with him. Of course I had to show him how silly I was.

I was in charge of supervising Grandpa plant the flowers. He did pretty good with my watchful eye.

Grandpa and I love to go to Five Guys. They have yummy burgers!

And of course, at Five Guys you get to play the fry in the cup game.

Dancing

I have some pretty good dance moves. Here is my dance routine to Turkey in the Straw. I would be willing to teach anyone who wants to learn it.

Icecream Humor

On Monday I went to lunch with Jillian, Brady, Grandma, and Mom. Let me tell you, I was the life of the party! I was being soooo funny! I had them and everyone around laughing. Of course that just egged me on. So, here are some pictures of me to show you how cute I can be.

Oh, so good.

This is how you fold your arms to say a prayer. That is really what we were talking about.

I look like Grandpa Jeff here.

Vacation

I went on vacation a week and a half ago. Why has it taken me so long to post about it? Well you see, I have taken to staying up late. I just refuse to go to bed. So, if I am up, so are Mom and Dad, and I only have time to post after they are asleep.

I decided that it was time for a vacation. I just needed a break from Mom and Dad. So I sent them away and went to stay with Grandma and Grandpa. Here I am calling to tell Grandma the good news about me coming to visit for a few days. She was pretty excited.

At Grandma and Grandpa's the only healthy food you have to eat is Oreo cookies. I think I can handle that.

At Grandma and Grandpa's Aspen has to take me for a walk, instead of the other way around.

I started to miss my friends, so Grandpa let me borrow his work phone.

I love to ride the horses when I am there. There is nothing like a relaxing trot through the fields.

Cedar is eating grass off my head!

I better hand Cedar some grass so he will stop eating my hair.

At Grandma and Grandpa's there are enough apples for the horses and for me.

I can play the piano as loud as I want there. There are no buttons to turn it down.

Aspen and I can watch as much Baby Signing Time as we want! So I hope you see now, why it is a vacation to be at Grandma and Grandpa's. I just get plain spoiled!

Now to tell you about Mom and Dad's. . . .

Here Dad is getting ready to go off the high jump at the Olympic Park in Park City.

This is his view from the top.

Da Da! He made it! Here he is at the bottom! Pretty good huh?

Mom did some skiing while they were gone.

Dad also did bobsledding.

This is Devil's Slide. I don't know if I would want to slide down this one. It looks fun to climb up though.

This is Dad telling Mom about his great plan to take a short cut to Grandma's.

This was the road.

This is where Mom thought they should turn around.

All in all we had a great time! But phew.... It is tiring to be on vacation.
