Surgery

Today I had surgery. I couldn't eat anything but Jello. I was ok with that!

I couldn't drink or eat anything anything after 7:00 am. Mom was giving me everything she could think of to hydrate me. It was great!

At 8:30 we checked in at Primary Children's Hospital. The waiting room there is the best! Toys, toys, toys. It even had a tractor.

Then I found the Nintendo. I loved it. I didn't get what to do, but I figured out how to make the guy jump. I thought that was so funny! I laughed and laughed.

I had to put on special pajamas. By this time I was not happy. "Ready to go home now."

I went to the pre-op room where they gave me a sedative so I wouldn't be upset when Mommy handed me to the doctor. After five minutes it was working really well. Mom and Dad had to either hold me or have me in the wagon because I was loopy. I think Mom wants to get hold of some of that stuff. It calmed me down really well.

See. I am pretty out of it. Still kind of cute and silly - just at a slower pace.

Whhhoooaaaa. . . . . Buuuubbbbblllle. . . . .

The nurse showed me what they would put on my face to put me asleep.

-

After I was nice and sedated, Mom handed me to the doctor. I think that is what happened. I don't really remember. They say the medicine makes you forget.

-

The surgery went well. The doctor said that my adenoids were really big, so it was a good thing we took them out. They cleaned out my ears and put in new tubes. The surgery took about a half hour. After, Mom was able to go back when I woke up. Daddy had to wait for a little bit. I cried and drank apple juice. Then I fell asleep in Mommy's arms. After about fifteen minutes Daddy got to come back. Mom held me for an hour or more while I slept, then she handed me off to Dad. Daddy forgot to take a picture of me snuggling with Mommy.

It was the hospital's Halloween party, so everyone was dressed up. Alot of people were dressed up like doctors and nurses.

-

I slept all the way home. When I got home I threw up all over Dad. Twice. I kept saying my neck hurt (I don't know the word for throat.) They put a breathing tube down my throat, and also the doctor went through my mouth to take my adenoids out - so it make sense.

-

Then Mom and Dad put me down for a nap. I slept for about 3 more hours. When I woke up I was doing a little better. I was hungry. I ate three bowls of cottage cheese. I wanted more but Mom thought I should wait a little bit.

-

Then Mimi came over and brought me a present and dinner. I was loopy still. I am getting codine in my tylenol. After awhile I just went and layed in my bed.

Carving Pumpkins

We got to carve pumpkins! Look at the inside!
Oh it feels funny!

After awhile I got distracted, so Apsen stepped in to help.

My pumpkin has fire in it.

Snow!

It snowed at my house yesterday. I had to hurry and get in my snow clothes before it melted.
Time to make a snowman!

Taco Taco Taco

Whenever Papa is working in Salt Lake we get to go to lunch and eat Taco Taco Taco. It is the only place that I will go and eat with him. The funniest thing about going to taco taco taco this time was Papa's phone and the cat ap. I made the cat say taco taco taco. Boy was that funny!

Scissors

Mom bought me a pair of preschool scissors. Let me tell you, I love them!! I sat and cut, cut, cut for an hour straight. Yes, you read that right, an HOUR! Mom actually went and got a book after awhile.
Cut, cut, cut makes NayNay happy.

Mom even took the scissors to Olive Garden when Mimi and Papa Steve took us out to eat there. I was very good while I cut, cut, cut.

Randee & Company

This week at Aunt Randee's store they were starting to set up Christmas. Mama came down for the week to help. Every day I would want to make cookies to take to all the employees. Once I got there, I would get a little shopping cart, put the cookies in it, and then start walking around the store handing out cookies. And yes, I did this everyday. There was no telling me no. I just wanted to "work" at Randee's.

I Won A Ride On A Fire Truck!

We had some errands to run today. We knew there was trick-or-treating at the fitness center, so we threw my horsey in the car, just in case we made it there. Well, we did! Everyone thought I was way cute. They kept coming up to me and asking if they could take my picture. Mom wishes she would have put me in my cowboy shirt.

The other kids even liked it. This is the third little girl that came to pet my horse.

They had a costume parade. Wave to everyone.

I kept looking at the fireman cow. He was fun to watch. Well, I wanted to meet him, so without telling Mom I walked toward him. When he came out to say hi, I turned around and ran back to Mom though.

But in the end I did say hi. I also gave him a high five too.

The firemen were in charge of judging the costume contest. They just looked at everyone when they were walking in the costume parade and wrote down who they liked.

-

And the funniest costume goes to.... "the cute little boy that was a horse!" I got to go in front of everyone and get a treat bucket! (Did I mention Mom wishes she put me in my full costume?)

Here are all the winners. I think the categories were funniest, cutest, scariest, and most creative.

All of the winners got to go for a ride on the fire truck! I was a little nervous, so Daddy went with me.

It was really fun! I keep talking about it.

Horsey was pretty proud of himself, so he put on his ribbon he won.

Here is my bucket that I won. I am pretty happy about it.

Pumpkin Dinner

We had a Halloween dinner at Mama's house. We had soup bowls that looked like pumpkins! I loved it! It was fun to scoop the bread out and make a bowl.

Great Grandma Rowley/House also came to dinner. I had to show her Papa's phone that has the kitty cat ap. You can feed it milk, poke it, and make it scratch the screen. It will even repeat what you say. I do a deep belly giggle when I hear it. That cat is so funny!
