New House

There is a lot to do in our new house. First we had to have that lovely red carpet ripped out. It was in every room. We are having wood floor and new carpet put in. Then we are painting the doors and the baseboards white. There is also a lot of cleaning to be done!

I haven't had to do much in the new house. Mimi and my cousins are out of school for Christmas break, so I have been helping Aunt Michelle babysit them. I try to help where I can.

Busy

I have kept myself pretty busy while living at Grandma's. I try to help Brittany out in the office as often as I can.

Mall

Last Tuesday, I went with Mom and Grandma to close on our new house. We stopped by Ogden mall and saw Santa. He wasn't the jolliest of fellows, and I wasn't so sure about him.

But there was something awesome at the mall!! A train! Grandma and I rode it. I waved out the window and said hi to everyone! After the first ride I threw such a tantrum because I wanted to ride it again. Grandma is a sucker and let me.

But I wanted to ride it again and again. Here I am really mad that I had to go home.

Shopping

Grandma has put me in charge of grocery shopping while I am staying with her.

Yum. Cupcakes.

Let It Snow!

Here I am helping Grandpa out by shoveling the snow. Boy, there sure was a lot of it!

After awhile, I gave Grandpa a break from shoveling and let him pull me in a sled.

Dad thought that pulling me looked like fun, so I gave him a turn too.

Happy Holidays!

Merry Christmas!

I Scream, You Scream!

Sneaking Candy

Oh look. The stool is right by that open cupboard that has candy in it. Hmmm.... If I hurry, Mom won't see.

Orange sticks! Yum!!

Good thing Mom loves a photo opportunity more than stopping me!

Putting Up Christmas Decorations

Grandma put me in charge of putting up her decorations this year. I started out by playing in the Christmas tree box.

A little to the left Grandma.

More to the right Grandma.

Happy Birthday Dad!

It was Dad's birthday on the 30th. Knowing how much Dad loves trains, I made him a train cake.

I know Dad also likes Elmo, so I did my best making the furry red guy. Frosting is hard to make Elmos.

I think Dad liked it! I know that I liked making Elmo dance and the train go choo choo around my tray!
Love you Dad! Happy Birthday!!

Grandpa Time

Living at Grandma's and Grandpa's is the best!! I get to watch Dumbo with Grandpa all the time!

We also have secret hand shakes and waves now too!

Thanksgiving Preparations

Thanksgiving dinner was at Grandma's house this year. On the Tuesday before, she had come and picked me up and took me home so Mom and Dad could finish cleaning the house. I think the real reason she got me was so I could help get the dinner ready.
First, I seasoned the turkey.

Aunt Train (oh, I mean Jillian) needed cookies to take to her in-laws, so I made those for her.

Mmmm.... Frosting a cookie.

I was in charge of setting the table too.

Phew. We got it all done! Come and get it!

This food tastes great! I did a wonderful job!

Thanksgiving Walk

Nothing like a walk down the lane....

Blurry, but necessary to post.

I didn't want to go back with everyone. I wanted to go see a train down the lane.

Thanksgiving Musical

Great Grandma Norma gave Grandma chimes for her birthday. Being the fun family that we are, we had a Thanksgiving musical.

I helped point to where we were in the song.

Dad's chime was a little off. So every time his note came up, we all laughed.
