Supervising

Posted By Nathan

Well, it seems that both Mommy's and Daddy's car has broken down. Things tend to happen like that around here. I have noticed that it is either really peaceful and easy going, or everything is going wrong. We must be in the everything is going wrong stage because other things have been going wrong besides just the cars. . . Oh well.... at least I am cute.

So here I am sitting out on the grass in the front
yard supervising Mommy and Daddy trying to
figure out what is wrong with the car. In my opinion, I don't think they had a clue what they were doing. But, I guess it doesn't hurt to open the hood of the car and look knowledgeably into it hoping that the problem will magically be fixed.

Mom and Me

Here I am with Mom. (I am the cute one on the right.)
We have some fun times together. I like to play with her during the day, but I sure can't wait until 5:00 when Daddy gets home. He is fun to play with too!

Prodigy

Posted by Nathan

After learning to sit up, I realized that I can learn to do anything that I put my mind to. Therefore, I decided it was time to learn to play the piano. So far I can play songs by Mozart, Bach, Beethoven, Chopin, and any other songs that the player piano has stored.

Free Drinks for Hunks

Posted By Nathan

I am starting to get embarrassed by how my good looks are attracting women. The other night while Mom, Dad, and I were eating at IHOP, the waitress brought me out a free drink because she thought I was cute. I guess being a hunk has its perks... or that is what Dad always is telling me.

Hold On!

Being able to sit up has opened up a whole new world to me. I should have learned to do this sooner! Today Mom let me ride in the grocery basket without being in my carseat. It was really fun. I made sure that I hung on really tight so I wouldn't fall out when Mom took the corners a little too fast.

My Girlfriend

Posted by Nathan

Since I want to grow up to be like Uncle Andy, I decided to get a girlfriend too! Her name is Reese. She is ten days older than me, but that is okay. I like older women. We have fun playing toys. The only thing that bothers me about Reese is she tries to steal my pacifier.

Cool Baby

Posted by Nathan
I went to Aunt Brittany's for her birthday. I was in charge of helping her with the wrapping paper. I think I did rather well.

While I was there, they ran out of seats for everyone, so I volunteered to sit in the cooler.

Daddy's Rocking Chair

Mimi brought down Daddy's old rocking chair for me. I think it is really fun to go back and forth and back and forth.

Baby With A Mission

Posted By Cammie

I was going about my normal routine the other day, when it got too quiet all of the sudden. I realized that I couldn't find Nathan anywhere. So I looked and looked and looked, but still couldn't find him. I figured that he had taken a scooch to the park with Aspen like he sometimes does. So I went to get my car keys to go and find him, but couldn't find them either. I panicked, figuring I locked them in the car. I darted out the door. Not only were my keys in the car, but so was Nathan. He was buckled up ready to go on a drive. After lecturing him about asking permission to use the car before he took it, I asked him where he was going. He said he was tired of living so far away from his grandmas and that he was going to go and see them. First, he would stop by Mimi's in Layton for dinner, and then head up to Logan to see Grandma Caylinn. I said okay, but be careful. I am sure he will arrive in a few days since he isn't tall enough to reach the gas pedal. He will have to idle the whole way.

Big Boy High Chair

Posted by Cammie

Nathan sat in a high chair at a restaurant on Wednesday for the first time. Mom was excited because it makes eating her lunch easier. But, at the same time, she was sad because her little boy is growing up too quick.

Sad Baby

Nathan wanted me to post that he is sad because his Grandma and Grandpa Rowley moved to Logan today. He liked being able to go over to their house and play whenever he wanted to. Now he will be able to only go up there once and awhile on the weekends. He is pretty disappointed about it. Nathan thinks that his mommy is boring and likes to play with Grandma and Grandpa and Aunt Jillian once and awhile. But now, he is just stuck with mommy. Poor kid.

Grandma is one of his best buds. She loves to play with him. Grandpa always makes him giggle.

Hands and Knees

Today Nathan got up on his hands and knees in crawling position. He only did it for a short while, but it looks like he is on his way to actual crawling! So far he can scooch around in a circle pretty easily. He also has traveled a distance of about 4 feet by placing his bum in the air and shoving his head forward on the ground. Once Nathan learns what his hands are for, the dogs better watch out! He will be after them!

Hello Weird Looking Doggie

We went to the Salt Lake County Fair on Wednesday. I don't know who was more curious about the other - Nathan or the goat. Nathan really liked the goat and was smiling at it. I am sure he just thought it was a strange looking dog.

Out to Dinner

Grandpa Steve took us out to dinner at Chili's the other night.
Nathan wasn't sure about the choice of food.

Build A Baby

We went to the Build-a-Bear store last weekend. It seems that you can put a wig on the bears that you build. However, it was also a perfect fit on Nathan. His dadddy didn't approve though and will probably be upset that I am posting the picture. :)

I am going to blog

A majority of my friends have blogs, and well, I thought I would give it a try. It seems like a fun way to keep people updated on our little family's comings and goings.

The most recent event in our family is that Nathan has learned to sit up by himself. He still needs supervision because he is still a little wobbly. But overall, he is doing great and loves the new skill.

Nathan is also quite the little hungry guy. He loves baby food and always wants more and more. So far he has tried peas, beans, squash, sweet potatoes, pears, prunes, applesauce, and peaches. His favorite is sweet potatoes and pears. He really didn't take to the applesauce and made some wonderful faces to show is displeasure.
