Five Guys

On Tuesday Grandpa Jeff came to Salt Lake to take me to lunch before he headed to Wyoming. We went to Five Guys. I really enjoy the fries there. What I really enjoy about the fries is putting them in the cup and then taking them out. Yeah, it was pretty fun to have lunch with Grandpa.

Batting Cages

Dad joined a softball team with some other church members. In order to get him ready for his game on Wednesday, we went to the batting cages.
I went first to show them how to do it. Both Mom and Dad can only bat right handed. I can bat both ways.

Here is Mom. I think I got my skills from her. She is pretty good.
But whoa! The outfield better back up when Dad gets up! He was hitting them far!

Starting to Stand

Wow! Look at me! I am starting to stand by myself. I see it more as a game then something I want to do all the time. You see, I have no motivation to stand or walk. I am doing just fine crawling and climbing.

Easter Party at the Great Grandparents

Boy this has been a busy weekend. On Sunday I got to go over to Great Grandma and Grandpa's for an Easter party.

I got to see so many people, like Great Great Grandma Hull.
Grandma and Grandpa Rowley were also there, so was Jillian, Brittany, and Justin. I was pretty excited to see all of them!
I had a really good time there. I played with all the cousins, and with Hollie.

I also enjoyed the food. Yum.

No Easter Pictures!

Gosh. I hate having to get all dressed up. This year my Easter outfit included a tie. Yuck. Then after Mom puts me in all these uncomfortable clothes, she wants to take pictures. I said no way and wouldn't cooperate. I kept slouching down and crawling away. So here are the best shots - but you get the idea.
Mom kept reminding me how good I was last year for the Easter picture. So I thought I should post last years picture to remind everyone that there was a time that I could hold still and cooperate.

Slide For Me!

Mom must have been a handful when she was a little tyke, because I think Grandma and Grandpa have it in for her. You see, Mom is always telling Grandma about my climbing adventures. Half the time I am usually on top of some piece of furniture while she is telling the story. So, what does Grandma and Grandpa do? They run out and get a slide for me to climb on. One that helps me get higher and higher on the things that I want to climb on.
I love the slide! I am glad that Grandma and Grandpa are on my side and help me with my endeavors. After I master the ladder on the slide, Grandma and Grandpa will you buy me a bigger ladder so I can get on top of the fridge?

Sneaky Easter Bunny

The Easter Bunny came to my house yesterday. He was really sneaky. He hid my basket on top of the piano probably thinking that I was too little to find it there. But he was wrong! That was the first place that I looked!
It was a great Easter Basket! It was filled with books, toys, and eggs that had puffs in them!

Swing Set Fun!

Usually I don't like to swing, but I gave it another shot at Mimi's. And guess what? I loved it!
Dad was teaching me how to do tricks on the rings.

I caught right on and did a few tricks of my own.

Egg Hunt

Mimi and Grandpa had an Easter Egg hunt at their house on Friday. Here I am already to go.
Dad helped me reach the ones that were too high for me to get on my own. I had to point them out to him, because he didn't see them as fast as I did.
I am pretty good at this egg hunt stuff. I was able to get three eggs, a ball, and bubbles!
All the cousins wanted to compare what they got. I thought I would be nice and give Kate some of the eggs that I found, so I dropped them into her basket. What a fun time!

Playing With My Cousins

Mimi has a slide at her house. So while I was there I wanted to go down it. I was too little to go down by myself, but luckily Olivia helped me!
I was determined to get to the top.

Here I am with all the girls. There is Olivia, Claire, me, and Kate. We were having quite fun playing!

Easter Treats

I was in charge of making treats to take to Mimi's house for the Easter Egg hunt. We decided to make cupcakes and cookies. While we were at it, we decided to make treats for the people that Mommy visit teaches and that Daddy home teaches.
-
Well, Mom turned her back for one second, and I found the fun Easter grass that we were putting on the plates! I was able to spread that stuff all over the house before Mom even noticed what I was doing!

What a Fun Day!

When I woke up from my morning nap today, guess who was here? Grandma!! I love when that happens! Then she told me that we were going to the airport to pick up my mom's cousin Mary. She flew in from Chicago to go visit some friends at UVU. That was great news too! But wait! It gets even better! Since we were in Provo, we got to go to the yummiest restaurant: The Brick Oven! Oh yeah!!
But it still gets better! They gave me a balloon at the Brick Oven! I love balloons! I got to take my shoes off in the car and play with my piggies and the balloon all the way home. Isn't that great?! Wow, I am a lucky kid.

Sugar Pancake!

The Rowley's have a tradition of having sugar pancakes on General Conference and on Christmas Eve morning. Well, Sunday was General Conference. What a great day! Not only did I have my first sugar pancake, but I got to watch church in my pajamas while I played toys! I don't think it gets any better than that!

Chores at Grandma's

I went and visited Grandma for a couple of days to give Daddy a break. Well, it was no break for me though! Grandma put me right to work! First I had to do the laundry. Make sure that you don't put a red shirt in with the whites, otherwise you will get pink undies. (Even though I thought it would be funny for Grandpa to have to wear pink undies!)
Then I had to wash the dishes and put them in the dishwasher. Aspen helped me by licking off any leftover food.
Then I had to put all the pots and pans away. I made sure to play with them before I put them away.
Oh, and don't forget about feeding the dogs and making sure they eat all their food gone. That is really important because they need their energy to run around and chase each other.
-
While I was there I was also in charge of getting up early and feeding the horses. It is really cold there, so you have to give them grain to help them stay warm. I also slipped them a few apples.
-
I was also in charge of making the beds and changing the sheets. (No matter what Mom says, it had nothing to do with me peeing through my diaper!)

Phew! Going to Grandma's is a lot of work for a little tyke. But it is well worth it to spend time with Grandma!
-

Now Grandma. . . . lets talk about an allowance. . . . . .

Teeth Update

So far I have six teeth: three on top, and three on the bottom. More are on their way, which I am not particularly excited about. But overall, I really enjoy having teeth. They help make my smile even cheesier!

Competitions

At Grandma's we had a competition night. The first event was to see how many cheese puffs you could fit into your mouth. I won with three.

The next competition was arm wrestling. It was a close call, but Mom barely beat Hollie.
In the wrestling competition, it came down between Grandpa and Aspen. Grandpa ended up being the winner.
This is the leg wrestling competition. Uncle Justin won.
This is a Rock Band competition. Whoever sings off key the most wins. Everyone did really GREAT at this!

This is the cute competition. I won hands down!

Shooting

Saturday afternoon, Brittany, Justin, Jillian, Brady, Grandma, Grandpa, Mom, Dad, and me all went shooting. Mom and Dad are pretty good. I better not mess with them.
After awhile, I was tired of showing everyone up. I hit the bulls eye every time! So, in order to let others feel good about themselves, I went and played in the trucks. First I played in the back of Justin's truck.
Then I practiced driving in Grandpa's truck. Here I am making the noise the truck makes.
I also made smushies on Grandpa's window and put hand prints all over.
Good thing I found Grandpa's Pepsi supply. I was getting thirsty from all that driving!
