Cake Time!

Oh yeah! Bring on the cake! I dove into the cake with everything I had. None of this wimpy picking at it.... I wanted handfuls of that deliciousness!

Here is Mikey and Reese. They didn't get to get messy. Poor kids.

Brady was going at it on the floor. He was being a little bit more careful then I was.

Here we all are.... The One Year Old Gang. From left to right:

Me, Mikey, Reese, Jax, Ladd, and Brady

Superman!

I thought I would be cool and show off my superman moves to my friends. I like to jump in and out of my castle.

The party was a great success! We all had tons and tons of fun! But, phew, it is time for a nap!

Valentine's

Boy I love getting mail! Mimi sent me a Valentine package the other day. It had a card and clothes in it. I played with the card for the rest of the night. Thanks Mimi.

Help! I'm Stuck!

So here I am stuck. And what does Mom do? Run to help me? Noooooo..... she runs and gets the camera. People, do you see what I am dealing with?

Bank Account

It is time that I start thinking about my financial future. If I am going to make millions by my tenth birthday, I better start now. The first thing to making money is saving money. Grandma totally agrees, so her and Grandpa gave me money for my birthday to open up a savings account. Here I am getting down to business.
Another perk about opening up an account is the bank gives you a stuffed animal called a Dollar Dog. They also give me prizes every time I come in and make a deposit. Good thing the bank is so close. I can just crawl across the street to get there.

But the best part of an account is that you get a sucker every time! Boy! Those things are sticky! Thanks for my savings account Grandma and Grandpa. I will remember that when I am a millionaire. I will send you on a trip somewhere, like Logan or something. That is my favorite place to go.

Now Mom and Dad. . . . lets talk about an allowance. . . . .

Portraits

On Saturday Mom dragged us all to have our pictures taken. I didn't want to sit still. I kept crawling away.

Another problem that I caused was that I wanted to blow out the portrait lights. I kept pointing to them and blowing. Mom blames Grandma.

Finally they gave me a ball to play with it. I liked to hug it.

More pictures are on their way. I will show them to you when they get here.

More Kazoos!

On Monday I went and got the mail. And guess what?! There was a package for me! I got home as fast as I could and opened it up. There were TWO kazoos in there! Grandma and Grandpa Rowley had sent them! Am I spoiled or what?! I told Aspen that she can't play with them anymore.

Thanks Grandma and Grandpa!!

Oh Crap

Oh crap. I am having tummy issues! I have been going through diapers every half hour all day. My bum hurts SOOOOOOO bad!! I scream everytime I get changed. But don't worry, I got revenge on Daddy and nailed him with a poopy once when he was changing me.

The Fate of the Kazoo

Aspen wanted to learn to play the kazoo too. However, she got a little rough and ruined it! Now I don't have a kazoo!

Visiting Teaching

Guess what?! Reese and Max are my visiting teachers now! Isn't that great! They have to come over and make sure I am doing okay and play with me. I think this visiting teaching idea is great! Reese says that she will teach me how to walk. She has been walking for a month now, so I need to get on it.

Oh Yeah! Bring on the Prizes!

That's right folks! I did it! Seven, count them, seven nights in a row I slept through the night! Pretty good huh?! So, now I get a few prizes.
-
But just to inform you, I stopped sleeping through the night on day eight. I promised seven, and that is it. I don't want to make a habit of it or anything.

Kazoo

Grandpa bought me a kazoo. Mom didn't think that I would be able to make it work because I have to hum when I am blowing into it, but she was wrong! Not only am I a piano prodigy, I am now a kazoo prodigy too!

Mom took this on her phone, and it doesn't really do the sound justice. But you get the idea.

Blowing Out the Lights

Grandma taught me to blow out the lights. Now everytime I see a light I point to it and blow!

I have to make sure I get a lot of practice blowing out the light, because it is almost my 1st birthday. I need to be able to blow out that candle so I can get a wish.

Prize!!

I have slept through the night for the past 3 nights! That is a record for me! I NEVER sleep through the night. Mom said she would buy me a prize if I sleep through the night for an entire week straight. Grandma also said she would buy me a prize. I really want this deal to be worth it... my reputation is on the line. So, is there anyone else who would buy me a prize if I sleep all the way through the night for a week?

Swimming

The other day I went swimming with Mom and Dad. Boy, I sure need my legs to grow a little longer so my swim suit fits!

Just Kidding

I know that I posted that I was feeling better, but I was just kidding. Mom took me back to the doctor's today, and there are still elephants in my ear. Now I am on really, really nasty medicine. It is yucky. The doctor is hoping that it will finally knock out my sinus and ear infections.
.
.
I made Dr. Lynch laugh again today. But I need to tell you some background first..... Mommy and I went to Grandma's on Tuesday and slept over. Grandma babysat me at night time so my mommy could get some sleep, because I have been a stinker lately and have been up tons in the night.... but anyway.... While at Grandma's she taught me a new trick. Did you know if you blow really hard you can blow the light out?! It is amazing. I blow and the light goes off. If I blow again it comes back on! So I have been practicing all day today....
.
.
So back to the doctor's office...... The doctor was showing me the light on the thing she looks into your ears with. Mommy told me to blow it out and I did! Dr. Lynch thought I was quite funny.
.
.
Since I am still sick, I have decided to take it easy. Good thing Aspen lets me lay back and relax on her. Mom is glad there are grandma's in the world to help her lay back and relax.

How to Make Dinner

The other day Aunt Jillian was asking for recipes that she could make at school. So I thought I would help her out by writing down instructions on how to make dinner.

Step One:
Go into the pantry and pull out anything that looks good.

Step Two:
Get out the pots and pans. Make sure that they are clean by tasting them.

Step Three:

Make sure you stay right by Mom's feet the whole time she is cooking, just in case she needs help.

Step Four:
Always clean up. Put your dishes in the dish washer. Any dishes that don't go in the dish washer, help Daddy wash them.

Hope that helps! Happy cooking!

Feeling Better

Don't worry anymore, I am starting to feel better. But boy, it was a long week. Mommy and Daddy also got sick, so it made the whole situation worse. Luckily God gave us Grandma's or I probably would have been put up for adoption. Grandma came so much this week to help take care of me. She really knows how to make someone feel better because she nursed me back to health with Diet Coke. Yep, that did the trick.

Sick! (And I mean it!)

Grrrr!!!! Whaaaaa!!!! Screeeeeam!!!! I am sick and I want everyone, and I mean EVERYONE to know it!
*
*

I went to the doctor's on Thursday. Grandma came along to help out. Well, I have another sinus infection, and this time an ear infection too.

I have been sooooo grumpy and mad! Probably the worst yet!! Don't you dare put me down!! And don't even think about me going to sleep! And that medicine you keep trying to give me, I will keep spitting it out so you have no idea if I am getting any at all!!!

Don't mess with me! I am sick!

Everyone Loves Grandpa

It seems that whenever Grandpa is around, Aspen and I migrate to him. We love him so much!

Guitar Hero

At Grandma's house, they got out Guitar Hero. At first I was doing the singing part. But then Daddy wanted to take over. Daddy loves to sing. He is actually quite good.

I was teaching Aunt Brittany how to do the drums. She is a pretty quick learner.

Saturday Outing

My plan worked! I figured if I drove Mom and Dad crazy enough that they would want to get out of the house and go somewhere. And what better place to go then to Grandma's! Yipee! So on Saturday that is just what we did.

Grandma had a surprise for me. She had bought a crib so that I could have more sleep overs! Isn't that great news?! (When do you want me Grandma? Mom says you can keep me for a few days.)

And another thing! Joan had given Mom a rocking horse for Christmas. It's name is Chief, just like Grandpa's horse. It is really fun!

Mom's Shoes

Mom left her boots out the other day, and I wanted to try them on. Good thing Mom carries her camera around with her everywhere so she could catch me in the act.

Another Haircut

Yesterday I decided to cut somethings. I started with my fingernails, toenails, and then my hair. Mindee was the one that cut it this time. She did a really good job even though I wouldn't hold still at all!
The best thing about getting a haircut is that I get to go to lunch with Daddy afterwards.

No Pants

So I have gotten over the "No socks" phase... now on to bigger and better things! Pants! Mom had just wrestled me into my clothes for the day and put me in the crib for a second. By time she got back, I had taken off my pants! I am getting pretty talented.

Rocking Grandpa

Yesterday I was asked to babysit Mimi and Grandpa. Of course I agreed because they are really well behaved when I tend them. Well... it was past Grandpa's bedtime, so I decided to rock him to sleep. I think I did a pretty good job. Thanks for letting me tend you Mimi and Grandpa!

Bouncing with the Snowman

Cold Outside

Aspen prepares to go outside at Grandpa's. Yes, even Aspen has to be bundled up like the kid on the movie Christmas Story.

Wrapping Paper

Grandpa likes playing with the wrapping paper too!

Missing You

This year Matthew, Lisa, Justin, and Brittany weren't able to be with us for Christmas. We missed you guys, but were thinking of you.

Christmas Eve!

On Christmas Eve, we set our presents out into piles of who they belong to. This is the Laraway haul. Can you believe it! Look how cute I am in my camp chair!
