Waffle House

Grandpa Jeff has wanted us to eat at a Waffle House since we moved to the South. (I guess he thinks they are neat.) Anyway, we tried it out. We took pictures to prove it.

Views Along the Way

Driving in Georgia is always fun. You see alot of neat things. Here are a few pictures we took along the way.
We got a new state! North Carolina.

Tallulah Gorge

We went and saw Tallulah Gorge. I guess some guy walked across it on a tight rope once. I wanted to give it a go, but Mom said no.
Just enjoying the view.

Georgia is famous for its peaches (although we have yet to see a peach tree). Mom and Dad bought some of this peach cider. (I think Mom just really wanted the bottle to put flowers in.)

Toccoa Falls

Our next stop was at Toccoa Falls. When we walked up to the falls, there was a wedding go on, so we couldn't get to close.

Goats on the Roof

We went to a place called Goats on the Roof. It was a store . . . with goats on the roof. It was hilarious.There were two stores, and the goats walked in between them.
You could buy food and send it up to the goats.

They would stand there waiting for it.Have I mentioned I can be a three-year-old with attitude?

Helen, Georgia

Mom had wanted to go to Helen for awhile now. Helen is located in the north east part of Georgia. The town is all based in Bavarian architecture.
I watched them make candy and then went in, walked up to the counter, and ordered a carmel apple.
It was delicious!
Helen had a lot of little shops.

It also had a park where I enjoyed more of my apple.

Anna Ruby Falls

Our next stop on our day trip was to Anna Ruby Falls.

Babyland

Mom was kind of bummed that her whole family was getting together in Utah this weekend. So we decided to go on a day trip. Georgia has been trapped in a heat wave, but it broke for two days, so we took advantage of that and did some things on our Bucket List.

We decided to head north. We made some stops on our way. Our first stop was to the Cabbage Patch Kids Babyland. It is where Cabbage Patches are born. The 'hospital' is located on 650 acres. It is a beautiful place.
They had cabbages in the parking lot to Mom's delight!
When you first go in, they have displays of different types of Cabbage Patch Kids in the 'nursery.' Also, all the workers were dressed up like doctors and nurses.
They also have antique dolls. You wouldn't believe how much some of these cost! I took this picture.

This is the Magic Crystal Tree where Mother Cabbage is.

We didn't adopt a Cabbage Patch this time. I didn't show interest in doing so. But I am sure my girl cousins would love to go here and adopt one!!
