No, No, No

Just so you know, this is no, no, no.

Dad's Softball Game

Dad joined a softball team with other guys from the ward. Yesterday I got to go and watch him play. Here I am cheering him on and giving him pointers. As you notice I am in my pajamas. I was supposed to be in bed, but I cried because I wanted to go so bad. Of course Mom gave in and took me.

Whoa! Look how far Dad just hit the ball!

Ears

Today I learned where my ears are. Just ask me and I will show you!

Lounging Around

For those of you that know me, I don't like to hold still for very long.... okay, I don't like to hold still at all. So when I crawled up on the couch to watch Baby Signing Time, Mom couldn't stop chuckling to herself.

Zoo

On Monday, Mom took me, Jillian, and Brady to the zoo. Here Jillian and I are pretending we are prairie dogs. I don't know why they are called dogs. They don't look anything like Aspen.
This is an important picture. It is a cougar. Well two of them if you count Mom. I think it just finished eating a hawk or something.

These are weird looking horses. I pointed to them and clicked.
Whoa! Look how big this paw is!
Every time I saw these drinking fountains I would point and roar!
Here birdie, birdie, birdie.
I don't even know what to say about this picture. I think it speaks for itself.
Everyone around started to giggle when I stretched out my arms. I don't know what was so funny? All the adults did the same thing.

This is just like sitting on Dad's lap.

Auntie and Brady needed help twirling this ball. Good thing I was here.

The best part of the zoo trip was riding in the back with Brady. We are going to be good friends!

Wedding Work

My Auntie Jillian is getting married. And of course, I am stuck going and doing everything. I told Grandma she had to come along and help me out, so she did. We went to store after store on Tuesday. Phew. There was so much to do that I suggested that we take a lunch break with Dad at the park. That was fun.... but it's back to work. . . .

First Steps!

I did it! I walked! I walked! Don't pay attention to the overly excited parents in the background (you know how parents can get.... so embarrassing)! Mom had a feeling that she should make sure the video camera was charged last night, so she plugged it in. But she put it on the wrong setting, so it wasn't ready! Can you believe that. Thank goodness there are cell phones.

Dinner at the Park

Grandpa Steve and Mimi came to visit. We got some sandwhiches and took them to Liberty Park. And guess what?! Mom forgot her camera! Can you believe that? It was my fault actually. I was playing with it so it wasn't in the diaper bag. So the pictures are bad because they were from the phone.

Anyway..... see that huge hill?! I walked all the way up it and back down. Okay, okay... Grandpa helped me. But it still was hard work.

Day at the Farm

A bunch of us went to Wheeler Farm today. We had a blast!
Hey Reese, can I throw your sandwhich to the ducks?

Here I am playing in the piggies' water.
Hi Jax. Your mom makes you ride in the stroller too? It stinks huh?
Hey kids!

Temple Square

The flowers are in bloom at Temple Square, so we went and saw them tonight.
And of course Mom wanted to take pictures! Everywhere. It is genetic. Grandma is just as bad.

We used the self-timer on the camera. I wanted Dad to know where to look so I kept pointing at the flashing light.

Reflecting Pond

Did you know that Temple Square has a really big dog dish? Ok, it is a reflecting pond, but it reminds me of Aspen's dog dish. Playing in Aspen's dish is no, no,no. I wanted to see if playing in this was no, no,no.
I got up to it pretty quick. There is a gap between the wall and the water, but that didn't bother me at all.

I guess in the end you can only put your hands in it. When you try to climb all the way in the water, it becomes no, no, no.

My Daddy is Funny!

I can't take Dad anywhere! He is so silly! When we got on the lawn in front of the temple, what does he want to do? A cartwheel! So here Daddy is doing cartwheels with flip-flops on . . . when whoosh! There goes his flip-flop!
It landed in the water!

Then Dad got pooped on by a birdie! Oh, he is so embarrassing to take places. :)

Aspen's Birthday Party

For Aspen's 2nd birthday party, we went to Memory Grove and had a picnic. Boy the weather was nice!
Aspen had to be hooked to a tree while we ate. After awhile, I thought it was time to get a move on it, so I went and unhooked her.

This is my favorite place to ride during hikes. I learned if I said "Giddy up" and smacked Dad on the shoulder that he would go faster. Boy, I thought it was funny.
Aspen loves to go swimming. She found a few friends that she chased around for a long time. But hey, it was her party and we were going to do what she wanted.
That swimming stuff looked fun, so I led my horsey, oh... I mean Dad, down into the water to play too. Aspen got really, really wet!

After our hike, Aspen needed to dry off on the grass for awhile.
That meant I got to crawl around on the grass and play. There was a slight hill, and I thought it was like stairs, so I crawled backwards down it. My favorite thing was finding all the leaves on the grass and throwing them. I wanted to stay all day, but in the end, Dad said we had to make like a tree and leaf.

Man's Best Friend

Happy Birthday Aspen!

Today my puppy turned 2 years old! Oh no, the terrible two's! In puppy years she is 14 years old. Today I am 14 months old! Cool huh! Happy birthday Aspen! Let's cause some trouble today to celebrate.

Open Wide Grandma!

On Thursday I went to Mendon to see Grandma. I always have to do chores while I am there. This time I was in charge of feeding Grandma! You have to be pretty creative to make her take a bite. She usually opened up if I pretended the spoon was a train.

Diet Coke Day

Good thing I know where Mom keeps the Diet Coke stash, because it was one of those days.

Mom's Figured It Out

Mom has finally figured it out! For the past little while, I have been a big pain to take grocery shopping. Who wants to sit still in the shopping cart? It is much more fun to try to climb out, or to throw the groceries out of the cart. Well, the last time we went Mom found a balloon and tied it to the cart. I played with it the whole time and behaved myself because Mom said I could take it home if I was really, really good.
Whamoozie! I got to take it home!
